waterfallCARE and Madagascar

CARE began its operations in Madagascar in 1992, when the country was experiencing a severe economic crisis. Initial projects focused on helping people protect their natural resources, increase their agricultural yields and improve their primary health care services. CARE also has implemented an integrated conservation and development project and a women's small economic activity development program. Currently, CARE is implementing projects in nature park conservation, improved agriculture, post-cyclone rehabilitation and urban health.
