"I wanted to participate in an international volunteer program.
But nothing sounded quite right until I found CARE Corps. CARE Corps
gave me the opportunity to be a volunteer and learn firsthand about poverty."

CARE Corps Abroad, in conjunction with our partner, Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS), provides a unique volunteer travel opportunity for just about anyone interested in educational travel or working abroad. See our program dates below.
Whether you've thought about teaching overseas, volunteering abroad, or just want to travel to Guatemala or Peru, CARE Corps Abroad offers an unforgettable introduction to travel that makes a difference.
CARE Corps Abroad participants experience community service while learning more about CARE's approach to international development and sustainable solutions to poverty — including sessions with CARE staff and visits to CARE projects in the field.
With CARE Corps, you'll travel to Peru or Guatemala to assist in CCS volunteer placements in areas matched to your interests, background and skills. And throughout this two-week volunteer vacation, you'll attend regular CARE Corps Abroad education sessions to learn more about poverty, its causes, and what CARE is doing to help. These sessions are led by CARE staff, and culminate in a weekend visit to CARE sites in the country you're visiting.
If you've always dreamed of being an international volunteer, an educational trip with CARE Corps is the perfect opportunity.
